Volunteer With the Food & Farm Network!

So you have some time and you are inspired to improve access to good food in New Orleans?
Here is how you can get started...

The New Orleans Food & Farm Network welcomes you to volunteer with us!

There are many ways to volunteer; all hands-on. We welcome all skill levels. As a bonus, you can earn t-shirts and other perks the longer you volunteer with us. An application process and an introduction to our work and assignments will be provided before you start.

If you have a group that would like to volunteer, please let us know. We have opportunities for you as well!

Individual Volunteers:

  • You should be over 18 years of age, or with a parent or guardian if you are younger.
  • We expect for you to commit three hours or more once a week for a minimum of a month.
  • Individuals must provide their own transportation
  • Most individuals can work in our office, at home, or on assignment.

Group Volunteers:

  • Members should be over 18 years of age, or with a parent or guardian if you are younger.
  • Groups must provide their own transportation.
  • Groups must have a point or contact person appointed for communication with the Food & Farm Network during the planning and on the day of the event
  • We have occasional one-day events that we can use a group-please check the calendar and the website for announcements.
